Message from the President

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the new website of the European Association of Airport and Seaport Police. Please take the time to look carefully through our site to understand the role that the association plays in both the aviation and maritime sectors.

The association over recent years has gone from strength to strength in delivering upon significant issues contained within our strategic plan. Areas include promoting co-operation with international partners, delivering exchange opportunities between portal agencies and international ports, advising european and international policy makers and the promoting information exchange as part of a joint funded project with the European Commission.

At a time when terrorists and criminals seek to exploit our borders and ports in an attempt to progress their illegal activities. The association and its members strive to ensure that by building upon new relationships and enhancing collaborative opportunities, we can all work towards the common goal of securing our ports against these threats and make them amongst the safest in the world.

You will find that the association is a professional and driven organisation and lies at the heart of European transport policing, providing a unique forum for professional information exchange and benchmarking. We look forward to welcoming you as future new members or as a delegate at one of our annual conferences.
